Winter Camps - 2017
SPMBA 2017 Winter Camps
Welcome back players! Are you ready to get back into the swing of baseball? SPMBA is proud and excited to introduce our new Winter Camps format for 2017.
We are pleased to now offer not just one, but two camps, for our up and coming athletes this year.
Community Camp - Saturdays
Once again, our annual Community Baseball Camp is a cornerstone for players of any skill level, from Blastball to Peewee. This once a week camp is designed for players who want to learn to play the game, have fun and develop their baseball skills through our experienced SPMBA coaching team. Set in a friendly, developmental based environment, new and returning athletes learn to play the game with confidence through various drills, long term athletic development principals and training programs tailored to get the best from the beginner and intermediate athlete. This camp is a great value and an excellent way to introduce new players to the game and for those returning players wanting to get their gameplay to the next level of progression.
Performance Camp – Mondays, Wednesdays, & Sundays
New this year, SPMBA now also has a Performance Camp for Mosquito to Bantam aged players. With three sessions a week, this camp is designed for those athletes who want to elevate their baseball skills and training to the next level. This advanced, academy-style camp focuses on overall long term athlete development principals with specialized programs and training implemented in a progression based calendar, culminating in the athletes’ preparation for the upcoming baseball season. Players will work with our coaching team to fine tune their skills through athletic training and drills that target core physical development, range of motion and agility, helping to reduce potential injuries typically associated with the repetitive motions and rigors of an extended performance baseball season. Our program emphasis is a balanced approached of general athletic development, agility, fielding, batting and pitching.
The Coaching Team
SPMBA is pleased to introduce our highly-experienced coaching team and are confident that players will benefit greatly from their knowledge, experience and leadership.
